Choose The Best Style for You

Dreadnaught
Probably the worlds favourite guitar. It fills up any room you play it in with a great balance between the bass and treble notes.
It great in any genre from rock to folk and bluegrass and excels for big strumming type players.
The larger body gives it volume and stronger bass response. It’s projection makes it great for performing in larger performance spaces

000/Concert
The 000-14 is renowned for it’s versatility and balanced sound. Due to it’s shape, smaller than a dreadnaught but larger than a parlour, it is very comfortable to hold and play.
With a narrow waste and hourglass figure it is comfortable sitting or standing. With warm and full mid range tones and pleasant trebles it is very balanced with a balanced much bottom end.
It is considered the perfect of both worlds for finger style players and strummers alike.

This is my personal favourite sounding and playing guitar, no favouritism haha

00-12
12 fret body join means forward position x bracing and a bridge more central to the main “drum” component of the guitar leading to more vibration of the soundboard and hence resonance.
00-12s have great balance and are surprisingly loud and accentuate the fundamental notes. They have lovely mids and highs and balanced lows and a punchiness opposed to larger guitars
These guitars are incredibly comfortable and sit on your lap perfectly on a chair or couch
They definitely suit finger style players but are fun for strummers as well

0-12/Parlour
Like the 00-12 the 12 fret body join means forward position x bracing and a bridge more central to the main “drum” component of the guitar leading to more vibration of the soundboard and hence resonance.
Still larger than travel guitars these are the smallest in my collection
Often quieter than larger guitars they can sometimes surprise you. They are not boomy but punchy and really push out the fundamental notes.
These are ideal for solo finger pickers, take Joan Biaz as an example
This is my favourite guitar to play on the couch or take on holiday

L00-14
The L-00 has all the size and shape advantages of the 00-12 except with a 14th fret body join.
